Since 1994, This top rated series invaded the television screens for its outstanding stories and scenes of the lives, loves and laughs of this group, consisting of six young individuals in Manhattan. Friends won 55 awards out of 146 nominations.

Main characters were Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green, Courteney Cox as Monica Geller, LIsa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay, Matt LeBlanc as Joeyn Tribbiani, Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing and David Schwimmer as Dr. Ross Geller.

Almost everyone lives this show. And if you would think about it, the six main charcaters of the series were also six of the most famous actresses and actors of the world today. The show has its own share of comedy tricks like Chandler's jokes, Monica's pedantidity, the songs of Phoebe and Joey's stupidity. They have their own uniqueness and ability to make people laugh.

Rachel Green is a former popular girl from High School Monica and a spoilt rich girl who relies on daddy's credit cards, finds her life suddenly changing , when she leaves her cheating fiancée Barry at the altar and finds comfort in her best friend, Monica Gellar. Monica is the excessively neat and organized "older sister" of the group,and a head-chef at a top restaurant in Manhattan. Chandler Bing is Monica's husband, a financially secure data processor, who relies on humor as a defense mechanism, a wimpy, average looking cigarette addict, and Ross' college buddy. Joey Tribiani is a not-so-bright but sweet actor who recently made a big war movie and is on Days Of Our Lives and now lives alone after Rachel moved out to move in with Ross because of the baby. Phoebe Buffay is a loveable eccentric masseuse who easily could have fit in with Haight Ashbury in the 1960s, brought as a fatherless child and her dream is to become a star in the music industry and bases her songs on her life experiences, often performs at the 'Central Perk' coffee house, and strongly believes in herself.

Other cast of the show is Ross Gellar who is the older brother of Monica, he has always had strong love feelings for Rachel and a successful professor of science leads him to be often teased by the other 5 friends about his profession.
