Chandler Bing is Monica's husband, a financially secure data processor, who relies on humor as a defense mechanism, a wimpy, average looking cigarette addict, and Ross' college buddy. Joey Tribiani is a not-so-bright but sweet actor who recently made a big war movie and is on Days Of Our Lives and now lives alone after Rachel moved out to move in with Ross because of the baby. Phoebe Buffay is a loveable eccentric masseuse who easily could have fit in with Haight Ashbury in the 1960s, brought as a fatherless child and her dream is to become a star in the music industry and bases her songs on her life experiences, often performs at the 'Central Perk' coffee house, and strongly believes in herself.

Other cast of the show is Ross Gellar who is the older brother of Monica, he has always had strong love feelings for Rachel and a successful professor of science leads him to be often teased by the other 5 friends about his profession.
